As parents, it’s only natural to want our children to feel happy and successful in their activities. But when it comes to growth—especially in dance—those feelings don’t always come immediately. Sometimes, progress looks like taking a step back to move forward. And sometimes, success is disguised as struggle.

At LoMastro Performing Arts Academy, we believe that versatility is the base—the solid foundation from which dancers grow in technique, artistry, and confidence. Encouraging students to train in multiple dance styles not only strengthens their technical ability, but also builds adaptability, creativity, and self-expression.

At LoMastro Performing Arts Academy, we love seeing our dancers take the stage, showcase their artistry, and grow through performance opportunities. Competitions provide valuable experiences—helping dancers build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. However, while awards and trophies can be exciting in the moment, they are not the focus of our competition philosophy.

We are excited to offer Pointe Prep training to our dancers at LoMastro Performing Arts Academy! As they begin this important step in their training, it’s essential that they are fully prepared with the proper footwear and supplies from the first week of class.
