LoMastro's annual fall musical theatre program brings kids in grades 2–8 to the stage in eight Saturdays, with families from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Libertyville, and across the North Shore.

Wonderland: Live! is a musical revue — a concert with a story running through it. Alice's journey ties it together, and rehearsal time splits evenly between singing, dancing, and acting. Every stop is a scene. Every scene is somebody's moment.

More numbers also means more stage time. Nobody waits through two acts for one scene. Everybody sings, everybody dances, everybody acts, everybody is out there more than once.
​
Every fall the show is different. New music, new world, new roles. Performers who did last year's show come back to something they've never done before — that's the design. This isn't a program you age out of. It's the one you come back to.
​
The performance happens in our own studio, which means a few feet from the front row. No balcony, no sound system between you and them, nobody watching from the back of an auditorium. You see your kid's face.

From casting to curtain call, every child gets a role.

​​Quick Story Snapshot
Alice follows a rushing white rabbit down a hole and lands somewhere that makes no sense at all. Doors that don't fit. A cat that won't stop grinning. A tea party stuck at six o'clock forever. And a Queen of Hearts who solves every problem the same way.​

Policies & Expectations

Home Practice: Regular practice of lines, songs, and dances is essential.

Punctuality: Please arrive 1–2 minutes early. Late admittance at the director’s discretion.

Attendance: absences may affect stage time or participation.

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing, clean sneakers, hair up, no jewelry.

Costumes & Props: Simple costumes provided by LPAA. Parents may be asked to supply certain items.

Casting: All casting decisions are final.
