LoMastro Performing Arts Academy's production of The Nutcracker: Clara's Dream is a one-act version of the ballet which takes place in the dreams of Clara in the Kingdom of the Sweets. This abridged version of the classic tale is performed by dancers ages 6-18 alongside professional dancers in principle roles.

Open auditions for The Nutcracker: Clara's Dream will take place on September 8 at LoMastro Performing Arts Academy in Lake Forest.
Rehearsals will be on primarily on Sundays from September 23 - November 18, Dress Rehearsal November 29 (No Rehearsals Oct 5-7 or November 19-25), select parts will rehearse on additional days.
Performances at The John & Nancy Hughes Theater in Lake Forest on December 1 & 2.
Over 50 children, ages 6-18 will be selected to perform in our professionally produced production. Ages 4 1/2-6 enroll in the Nutcracker Performance Class.
Principle roles will be performed by professionals.
Dancers and Actors, ages 6-18, from any studio or school are encouraged to audition!

Mark your calendars now for our Sugarplum Fairy Tea Party on Saturday, November 10 from 1:30-3:00 PM or 3:30-5:00 PM at LoMastro. Children are invited to get dressed up and have high tea with special performances by the Sugarplum Fairy, Clara, and other characters. This not to be missed special event will feature, a sit-down tea, cakes, cookies, and lots of surprises! Girls will receive a memento to take home as a reminder of the special day.
Kick-off the holiday season at this special fundraiser, proceeds will help defray costume and production costs. Last year this event sold out, don't delay register early!
